Chainlink, a leading oracle platform, and 21X, a blockchain-based exchange for tokenized securities licensed under the EU’s DLT Regime, announced that 21X is using Chainlink to provide real-time market data onchain. The integration allows verifiable data such as bid and ask prices, quantities, and last traded prices for securities listed on 21X. This information is accessible on the public Polygon blockchain, enabling new use cases for regulated tokenized equities, debt securities, and funds. The system is powered by the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE), which collects, aggregates, and publishes data in a standardized format. This provides a reliable source of market information for developers, financial institutions, custody providers, and DeFi protocols. 21X plans to expand the integration to include pre-trade data, deeper analytics, and additional asset classes.
