The crypto market is showing strong activity again as Bitcoin reaches a new all-time high of $111,861 and its market dominance keeps rising. This has raised hopes for a possible altcoin season — a period when altcoins outperform Bitcoin. In the past, two main signals have marked the start of such a season: Bitcoin breaking its previous record and its market dominance increasing. Both of these are happening now, with Bitcoin dominance moving from around 50% to nearly 61% in 2025, while most altcoins have struggled to keep up. If this trend continues, altcoins could soon see a strong rally. AltcoinBuzz has shared 10 altcoins that will soon pump because Bitcoin has surged past $110k. Made-in-the-US Altcoins The U.S. is quickly becoming a hub for regulated crypto innovation, especially with real-world asset (RWA) tokenization making headlines. Here are five U.S.-based projects leading the charge: ONDO Finance (ONDO): A top RWA protocol recently partnered with JP Morgan to tokenize securities — a move that could open up trillions of dollars in real-world assets to blockchain. SUI Network (SUI): The fastest-growing Layer-1 this cycle, dominating DeFi, gaming, and stablecoin volumes. Often compared to Solana from the last bull run. Chainlink (LINK): The leading oracle network providing real-world data like stock and bond prices to blockchains — essential for RWA protocols. XRP: Fresh off a $50 million U.S. settlement, the long-time payment token looks primed for a regulatory comeback, though its history of retail token dumping tempers excitement. Hedera (HBAR): Focused on RWAs with its unique hashgraph technology, offering faster, cheaper, and scalable transactions for institutions. Other Global Contenders However, the U.S. doesn’t have a monopoly on innovation. The analyst mentioned other projects like Quant Network (QNT), that helps different blockchains work together, especially for digital currencies like the digital euro. Plume is another mid-size project focused on real-world assets and has strong partnerships. Polygon is making a comeback as a popular Layer-2 network, leading stablecoin transactions and taking users from Tron. The last one was Bittensor (TAO), which is a project that wants to be like Bitcoin for AI, letting people invest in and support AI networks.
