United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Paul Atkins will deliver the keynote speech titled “Tokenization: Moving Assets on-Chain: Where TradFi and DeFi Meet” at the “Cryptocurrency Task Force Roundtable” event to be held on May 12 (Tomorrow). Atkins’ talk will focus on the intersection between the worlds of traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi). Representatives of financial giants such as Fidelity’s Cynthia Lo Bessette, Nasdaq’s Eun Ah Choi, Invesco’s Will Geyer and BlackRock’s Head of Digital Assets Robert Mitchnick will also be present at the event. The day's program will begin at 20:00 Turkish time (UTC+3) with opening and welcome speeches. Then, the “Evolution of Finance: Capital Markets 2.0” session will be held between 21:00 and 22:30. The event will continue with the “Future of Tokenization” panel, which will start at 23:00. A notable development ahead of the event came from BlackRock. The company, the world’s largest asset manager, met with the SEC’s Crypto Task Force on May 9 to discuss critical regulations concerning the digital asset sector.
