Casper 2.0. brings instant finality, upgradeable smart contracts The new version of the Casper Network introduces several enhancements focused on improving the developer experience and driving adoption. One of the main updates is the introduction of Zug consensus, which delivers instant finality to transactions, crucial for legal certainty and improved user experience. This means that developers won’t have to use complex and risky workarounds to update the contracts when legal or technical requirements change. “By design, Casper 2.0 enables real-world asset transactions to settle instantly, businesses to implement access controls that mirror reality, and applications to seamlessly upgrade as regulations evolve.
