Celestia, a well-known modular blockchain ecosystem, has announced the launch of MAMO-1. MAMO-1 is its only public testnet to date, and it produces 128MB blocks every six seconds, resulting in 21.33MB/s in permissionless data throughput. This throughput level is sixteen times higher than the current Celestia mainnet. MAMO-1 is also designed to stress test scalability features and to test Celestia’s ability to handle massive amounts of data. According to Celestia, MAMO-1 provides increased throughput levels along with an additional accessible and resilient format for the broader developer community. Key features of MAMO-1 include Vacuum and Pull-Based Broadcast Tree. These enhancements improve efficient data routing, throughput, and reliability. The solution allows developers to conduct comprehensive stress testing of applications to increase their contribution to the ecosystem. Image: freepik Designed by Freepik
