CUNI is a type of ERC-20 token issued by the Compound protocol, called cTokens. cTokens are distributed to users who lend assets on Compound and are used to keep track of the amount of assets lent and the value of the interest accrued. cUNI is the cToken corresponding to Uniswap Protocol Token (UNI) Compound III is an EVM compatible protocol that enables supplying of crypto assets as collateral in order to borrow the base asset. Accounts can also earn interest by supplying the base asset to the protocol. The initial deployment of Compound III is on Ethereum and the base asset is USDC.
