milkALGO (mALGO) is a wrapped version of the Algorand (ALGO) token used within the Milkomeda A1 Rollup to facilitate EVM capabilities on the Algorand blockchain. It supports transaction fees, interoperability, and scalability within the Milkomeda ecosystem. The project, developed by the Milkomeda team, is facing challenges with validator sustainability, leading to an announced shutdown in mid-2024.
