MediChain is a blockchain-based ledger for patient’s medical data. It allows patients to store their own data offchain in an appropriate geographic domain, and give access to doctors and specialists anywhere regardless of the payer network or EMR used. The MediChain Utility Token (MCU) is an ERC-20 token based on Ethereum. It represents the value of arbitrary patient data blocks and provides users with multiple benefits in the MediChain ecosystem.
