PIN is the native token of the PinLink ecosystem, facilitating transactions within its decentralised physical infrastructure network (DePIN). AI developers use PIN to pay for computing resources, while DePIN asset owners earn PIN as rewards for providing infrastructure. The token enables fractional ownership of assets through ERC-1155 tokenisation, allowing investors to earn passive income. PIN can also be staked to generate protocol revenue and is used for governance, ensuring efficient capital allocation. Additionally, a portion of RWA sales fees contributes to a rebate fund that subsidises AI developers’ costs. PIN plays a critical role in optimising resource distribution and incentivising participation within the network.
