The Syndiqate Project is an association of individuals and legal entities in the club-based insurance crypto-community for p2p insurance of investment risks in crypto projects and cryptocurrencies. Instead of covering the risks by insurance companies, individuals and organizations that carry the same or similar risks sign a collective commitment to help each other by pooling their risks into one insurance pool. Each member contributes the risk to the insurance pool and pays a certain amount commensurate with the risk. The money payable to the pool is not insurance premiums in the usual sense of the word. This money is a contribution to the insurance pool in the form of a club fee. Syndiqate's proprietary digital cryptographically secured token (SQAT) is designed for the purpose of operating the system on the Syndiqate platform, and is intended to be used exclusively as the primary service token on the platform.
