Nillion Network and Cloudician Launch Privacy-First Petnet Node

Nillion Network has officially unveiled a Petnet Node in partnership with CloudicianTech. This project will be one of the milestones in the growth of the Nillion Network’s privacy-first infrastructure. Petnet works based on Multi-Party Computation (MPC), unlike traditional blockchain systems, which allows the computation of data without revealing the original content. We're excited to support the growth of blind computation by operating a Petnet Node on the @nillionnetwork with @CloudicianTech.Unlike blockchain networks, the Petnet is powered by Multi-Party Computation (MPC), enabling data to be processed without ever exposing the underlying… pic.twitter.com/QBNl9XBOTM — Alibaba Cloud (@alibaba_cloud) June 12, 2025 The Petnet is made for privacy-preserving computation. Data is divided into encrypted pieces and securely processed with Nillion’s nilDB and nilCC modules. End-to-end data protection is guaranteed, as these fragments are never revealed in plaintext outside of the Trusted Execution Environment (TEE). Enterprise Cluster Enhances Integrity of Infrastructure Nillion has created a strategic Enterprise Cluster to further enhance the credibility of its network. Among the key players in this group are STC Bahrain, Cloudician by Alibaba Cloud, Pairpoint by Vodafone, and Deutsche Telekom. These firms contribute to the infrastructure, operational accountability and global accessibility. This collaboration between Nillion and AliBaba Cloud offers a basis of verifiable trust in the node operations which is very essential to the scalability and security of the network. These companies assist Petnet in testing use cases in real time and deploy infrastructure to create a route to privacy-enabled products. Privacy Applications in Major Industries Blind computation is enabled by the use of nodes run by enterprises, creating new sector capabilities. At least in telecom, operator can make sense of user data without infringing privacy. Banking organizations can perform encrypted risk management and fraud analysis. Sensitive research partnerships in the healthcare sector are possible without transferring or revealing any personal data. Such cooperation enables privacy as implemented by architecture and not by policy. Petnet infrastructure can be deployed in a modular way and its configurations can be customized, thus enabling developers to address jurisdictional, compliance, and performance requirements.
