Economist Timothy Peterson, known for his comments in the cryptocurrency field, shared his prediction regarding the date when the recent low performance in Bitcoin prices will end. Peterson claimed that there were 40 days left for the correction in Bitcoin to end, in his estimate based on his examination of previous correction movements. The analyst argued that the current “bear market” could not last more than 40 days. Peterson said in his statement during the BTC decline last week that he expected the Bitcoin price to drop to $73,000 before the end of this month. After this statement by the analyst, the Bitcoin price generally remained above $80,000. However, the trade wars between China and the US are increasingly heating up and if there are any negative developments, the volatility in the Bitcoin price may increase. At the time of writing, the BTC price is trading at $84,798 and has gained 0.64% in the last 24 hours. On the other hand, the general cryptocurrency market has increased its total market value by 0.73% in the last 24 hours and is around $2.66 trillion. The world's largest altcoin, Ethereum, continues its poor performance and lost 0.63% today. *This is not investment advice.
