While Bitcoin (BTC) is set to break new records in 2025, altcoins are still waiting for an explosive rally. As hopes for a rally continue for altcoins, cryptocurrency analysis platform Santiment announced the four altcoins that whales transferred the most to exchanges. Accordingly, Santiment said that significant transfers were seen to exchanges in four altcoins in the last 24 hours. These include PayPal USD (PYUSD), SSV, Threshold (T), and ImmutableX (IMX). “There are several notable altcoins that have seen significant token transfers to exchanges in the last 24 hours. Here are the top transfers we’ve been tracking: PayPal USD (PYUSD): $15.9 million (1.67% of market cap) SSV: $1.1 million (0.89% of market cap) Threshold (T): $1.2 million (0.85% of market cap) ImmutableX (IMX): $6.4 million (0.60% of market cap) Such large altcoin inflows to exchanges are generally interpreted as preparations for sales. It usually signals potential selling pressure as whales or large holders may be preparing to unload their positions. Therefore, it can increase short-term volatility for these altcoins and affect price action. At this point, investors should also monitor PYUSD, SSV, Threshold, and IMX as increased exchange transfers could signal increased selling pressure. 🐳 There are several notable altcoins seeing major transfers of coins moving to exchanges over the past 24 hours.
