This surge in volume, particularly concentrated in Korean won (KRW) pairs, suggests renewed interest from local investors. According to Upbit data, Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL) was the most traded crypto asset on the exchange with $119.9 million in volume, while Tether (USDT) topped Bithumb with $103.2 million. The volume jumps in altcoins like XRP, Mina Protocol, and Livepeer were particularly notable.
