Ueno Bank, the largest bank in Paraguay with over 2.2 million customers, has implemented quantum-resistant cybersecurity measures to protect its digital operations and customer data. The bank is using SignQuantum’s quantum-resistant digital signatures and QANplatform’s blockchain technology. Ueno Bank has introduced SignQuantum, a software tool that ensures the authenticity and integrity of digitally signed documents for both the bank and its customers. In addition, QANplatform’s quantum-resistant blockchain will securely store document hashes with post-quantum signatures, protecting them from potential manipulation. The move comes as part of a broader strategy by Ueno Bank to stay ahead of evolving cybersecurity threats. ITTI, Paraguay’s leading tech company, is supporting the implementation. Image: Freepik
