Anthea Holding Limited, a global fintech group focused on life insurance products denominated in cryptocurrencies, has raised $22 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Yunfeng Financial Group, with participation from investors in insurance, asset management, and fintech. The funds will support the launch of Anthea’s first life insurance product in Ethereum, described as the first of its kind globally. The company plans to use the capital to expand its operations, develop new products, and strengthen its presence across Asian markets. The announcement follows in-principle approval from the Bermuda Monetary Authority for Anthea Insurance Limited to register as an Innovative Insurer. The funding will also advance integration with blockchain-based payment systems and enable yield-generating insurance solutions for both crypto and traditional investors. Image: Freepik
