World Liberty Financial said it will distribute 8.4 million WLFI governance tokens to early participants in its USD1 points program, rewarding users who helped spur adoption of its stablecoin. The rollout will take place across six centralized exchanges, Gate.io, KuCoin, LBank, HTX Global, Flipster and MEXC, with timing and eligibility determined by each platform. World Liberty said the points program will continue alongside new initiatives aimed at increasing USD1’s utility, including new trading pairs, DeFi integrations, and additional reward opportunities. The company said the loyalty campaign has driven over $500 million in trading activity since its introduction two months ago, positioning USD1 as the sixth-largest stablecoin by market value, according to CoinGecko data.
